Ukraine Refugee Host

EquALLIES has always championed the voices of the marginalised. Now more than ever the term 'allyship' is tested across borders and communities. Many UK Citizens have been appalled at the events unfolding in the Ukraine, wanting to support in any way possible.

If you have registered at Homes for Ukraine – Homes for Ukraine – Local Sponsorship Scheme for Ukraine (campaign.gov.uk) and are going through the relevant background checks and seek the name of a family or individual to support, we will try and match you through a Ukrainian speaking associate, who is in regular contact with families fleeing the war.

Although homes are particularly sought in the North West, "we just want a safe space".

Preference will be given to those with existing DBS checks and trauma informed backgrounds.
